Local SEO Tips for Businesses with Multiple Locations

There’s an unfortunate casualty in Google’s struggle to provide users with high quality, relevant search information – businesses with multiple locations. The algorithm used by Google values unique content and many businesses struggle to create it. That filter weeds out duplicate entries and makes it impossible for customers to find any location a business might have because Google thinks its spam. It doesn’t understand that even though your Pine St. and Elm St. stores have the same offers, customers near each would be interested in finding them. To the computers at Google, it’s all just white noise.

However, Joy Hawkins at SearchEngineLand, com has advice to help. She recommends some easy ways to organically generate content that is unique to each location in your business to help them appear in Google’s search results. Give it a look.
