We work with clients to create a social media and inbound marketing platform that helps businesses connect with customers, build their brand, attract new sales leads, and convert them into happy customers.
We’re looking for an experienced, dynamic marketing intern to help drive the growth of Kaufer DMC’s new business acquisition. You’ll work closely with our marketing team to help lead and plan our new business outreach efforts, research new lines of business, and contribute to our social media and blogging efforts.
•Understand Kaufer DMCs strategic and competitive position in the inbound marketing industry and bring that knowledge to develop marketing strategies
•Create, plan & implement a research program for new lines of business, including list acquisition, database management and marketing automation
•Learn and work with Kaufer DMCs advanced marketing automation system.
•Potential social media work including posting on Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest and Google Plus; help create and manage social media calendars, assist in campaign development and account coordination
•Potential content creation such as blog posts
•Other duties as needed and assigned
•Currently pursuing a BA or BS in marketing, business, communications, public relations, journalism or similar major from an accredited college or university
•Basic functional knowledge of social media marketing and inbound lead generation
•Understanding of sales and marketing for a digital and inbound marketing company
•Understanding of complete marketing lifecycle, from customer needs through messaging and program development to customer acquisition.
•Outstanding written and interpersonal communication skills
•Ability to work independently and in a team environment
•Able to contribute at both strategic and operational levels
•Ability to synthesize client, market and competitive research into insights
•Passion for the inbound marketing funnel
•Passion for research and building new lines of business
•Experience with different technologies
•Insatiable desire to learn and an entrepreneurial mind

This position is unpaid but is encouraged to be used for school credit, requires a commitment of 10-15 hours per week, and work can be done remotely. However, you must be available to meet in person at least once per week. The internship is scheduled to last 3-4 months, but can be extended depending on performance.
