Is Facebook Worth It for B2B Marketers?
When you think of Facebook, your first thoughts probably aren’t business related. They are probably more along the lines of old college friends, baby pics, cat videos, etc. – essentially, it’s more focused on the consumer, i.e., you. Facebook works against B2B marketers in some ways. The search engine function only searches for names, not products. For example, if I were a lawyer looking for accounting services and I typed in “accounting”, it only searches for companies with the words “accounting” in their name rather than by the services they offer. LinkedIn can be more B2B friendly, but Facebook is hoping to change that. What would you like to see Facebook implement? How is LinkedIn beneficial to your B2B clients?
