Infographic: How Trump will affect healthcare marketing budgets

The first few weeks of the Trump presidency have certainly been unpredictable.

That unpredictability in unlikely to change now and in the future. As we witnessed this weekend, businesses will need to be on their toes when Trump’s policy changes affect their bottom line.

A massive component of Trump’s presidency and one that’s also unpredictable is how he’ll work with Congress on a healthcare reform initiative after promising to repeal the Affordable Care Act. If and when reform takes place, how might this affect healthcare marketing budgets for businesses across the country?

MM&M Online put together an infographic visualizing a survey of 722 marketing & communications executives, conducted by Campaign, DMN, MM&M, and PRWeek, that gathered data on whether or not the election of Donald Trump would affect healthcare marketing budgets.
According to MM&M, “nearly 40% of the survey’s 700 respondents said they plan to boost their marketing budget in 2017, but only 25.7% said the newly installed president was a significant factor in the decision.”
