Social media has become the leading source of information for journalists and the public alike. But whether it’s a reliable source is a whole other story (we all remember CNN’s major stumble during the Boston marathon bombing). You want to respond as quickly as possible, but you also want to report accurate information. Is it possible to do both? Rule #1, deleting a tweet isn’t an option here.
